The NoVa Mini Maker Faire is a family-friendly day of fun, excitement and inspiration. It showcases the amazing creativity and diversity of makers from our region.
Maker Faire is the Greatest Show (and Tell) on Earth – a family- friendly showcase of invention, creativity, and resourcefulness, and a celebration of the Maker movement. It’s a place where makers – tech enthusiasts, crafters, homesteaders, scientists, and everyone in between – show what they are making and share what they are learning.
Northern Virginia has long been a hotbed for technology, innovation, creativity, and the entrepreneurial spirit. The NoVa Mini Maker Faire will bring together a diverse audience of all ages interested in technology, engineering, arts, crafts, food, music, science and sustainability.
Whether your company is local or international, you will reach the right mix of technologist, creatives and enthusiasts. These families, educators, engineers, entrepreneurs and more are looking to learn more about the Maker movement and companies that support it. The Faire provides access to some of the brightest young minds in the Northern Virginia area and their parents. We are also featured across the region from major media outlets to blogs and online sites.
This year, with the new Silver Line Wiehle-Reston East Metro station open, we’re targeting 140 exhibitors and 6,000-8,000 attendees! We’ll reach over 150,000 people through outreach efforts on our website, social media and traditional media. We invite you to join us on Sunday, March 15, 2015 from 10-5 at South Lakes High School and Langston Hughes Middle School in Reston.
Many sponsorship opportunities are available for organizations large and small. See our NoVa Mini Maker Faire Sponsorship Packet (PDF) for details about sponsoring the 2015 Faire.
